Category B — manual
From first lesson to exam
The full course to your Dutch category B licence. We start with the basics and build up to exam standard: city traffic, provincial roads, the motorway, special manoeuvres and independent driving with navigation.
We currently teach in a manual car only. That comes with one real advantage: you earn a licence without the automatic-only restriction.

CBR driving ability assessment
Preparation, and a car to hire
Has the CBR called you in for an onderzoek naar de rijvaardigheid — an assessment of your driving ability? It can follow a report about your driving or a medical assessment. You drive with a CBR examiner, who judges whether you are still safe on the road.
We prepare you for it properly. We practise the situations such an assessment covers and tell you honestly where it is not yet good enough — more useful than reassurance. If you have no car of your own, or would rather sit the assessment in a car you know, you can hire our training car for it.

Why we usually teach in doubles
A single 50-minute lesson loses a good chunk of its time to setting off and driving back. In a double lesson you're actually driving: you get further from home, you practise for longer in one go, and you retain more of what you've learned.
In practice that means you need fewer lessons, not more. That's why it's our default — and why our packages are built around it.

Lessons in English and Russian too
Slava teaches in Dutch, English and Russian. Useful if you haven't been in the Netherlands long: you pick the language your lessons are taught in, and we practise the exam terminology in Dutch.
