Lessons and courses

Everything we offer, from your first trial lesson to the practical exam. Honest advice, fixed prices and flexible scheduling.

Trial lesson — 45 minutes

€45, free with a package

A 45-minute introduction behind the wheel. You'll get a feel for how driving suits you, and we'll see what you can already do. Take a package afterwards and the trial lesson is free.

  • 45 minutes of driving yourself
  • An honest read on your starting level
  • Free when you take a package
  • No obligation whatsoever

Category B — manual

From first lesson to exam

The full course to your Dutch category B licence. We start with the basics and build up to exam standard: city traffic, provincial roads, the motorway, special manoeuvres and independent driving with navigation.

We currently teach in a manual car only. That comes with one real advantage: you earn a licence without the automatic-only restriction.

  • 50-minute lessons, usually taught as doubles
  • No automatic-only code on your licence
  • Interim test available
  • The same instructor from start to finish

Intensive course

Faster to your exam

Want your licence quickly? We schedule several double lessons a week and work to a tight plan towards your exam. Popular with students and with people who need to be mobile for work.

  • Several double lessons a week
  • A personal schedule, agreed together
  • Weekday evenings and weekends available
  • Apply for your exam sooner

Refresher course

For people who already hold a licence

Got your licence but haven't driven in years? Or feeling unsure on the motorway or when parking? A few focused lessons usually bring the confidence back quickly.

  • For anyone with a valid licence
  • Targeted practice on what you find hard
  • Available from a single lesson
  • Also in English or Russian
Double lessons

Why we usually teach in doubles

A single 50-minute lesson loses a good chunk of its time to setting off and driving back. In a double lesson you're actually driving: you get further from home, you practise for longer in one go, and you retain more of what you've learned.

In practice that means you need fewer lessons, not more. That's why it's our default — and why our packages are built around it.

Prefer single lessons?

That's fine too. Just say so when you sign up and we'll schedule it that way.

The lesson car

You'll learn in a manual Mazda 3

A comfortable car with good all-round visibility that you'll get used to quickly. It's a manual, so you earn a full category B licence that lets you drive both manual and automatic cars later on.

  • Manual — no automatic-only restriction on your licence
  • Calm, modern car with clear visibility
  • Dual controls, so you can practise safely
  • Pick-up at an agreed spot within the lesson area

Lessons in English and Russian too

Slava teaches in Dutch, English and Russian. Useful if you haven't been in the Netherlands long: you pick the language your lessons are taught in, and we practise the exam terminology in Dutch.
